QUALIFICATION: Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and Bachelor of Business (Finance) 

"I’ve always been good with numbers, but I really got to learn what accounting is all about at Unitec. The programme is very practical, focused and applicable to real-life situations, and the staff are really supportive and go out of their way to help.

Now I’m at PricewaterhouseCoopers and I love the variety of my work. I do tax, auditing, consulting, and financial reporting, and I work for clients I never thought I’d have contact with yet! The organisation gives you so much support to build your skills and knowledge and I’ve been amazed by the amount of on-going training there is. You get such satisfaction out of helping a client with their business and that’s what I enjoy most about the job. I’m very proud of getting a job at the largest international accounting firm.

Once I’ve officially qualified as a Chartered Accountant, I’ll look at further opportunities at PwC and maybe even work for them overseas."
