Radio Lollipop is a charity that provides care, comfort and play to children in hospital. We are based at Starship Children's Hospital, Waitakere Hospital, Kidz First Middlemore Hospital, Manukau Super Clinic, Whangarei and Christchurch Hospitals. Our volunteers help to put a smile on faces of sick children, providing a much anticipated distraction to those whose days have been long and distressing. Through the combination of play, humour, laughter, music, visual arts/crafts, storytelling, broadcasting and just plain contact, Radio Lollipop brings relief and great results not only to patients but also to their families and the hospital staff.
