The New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management – Canine Behaviour and Training is a great next step if you’re a graduate of the New Zealand Certificate in Animal Care

You’ll build on your knowledge and skills in all aspects of animal care with a specific focus on canine behaviour and husbandry. This will allow you to care for and train your canine companion and confidently take on job opportunities in the canine industry.

  • Practical work experience. You’ll complete at least two work placements at an external canine facility of your choice.

New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management – Canine Behaviour and Training

Level: 4

Credits: 120 (1.0 EFTS)

Campus: Christchurch or Auckland.

Start dates: February

Duration: full-time for one year (a mix of online and on-campus learning).

You’ll be required to attend up to four weeks of on-campus learning, and the rest will be online. You can now do your block course in Christchurch, or Auckland.
