Aim: 
The aim of this course is to enable the learner to carry out an applied, independent, ethically sound small-scale research project. Under supervision, the student will perform rigorous intellectual analysis, critically evaluate advanced techniques and methodologies which they apply to their specialised topic and reflect and critically evaluate their findings. They will synthesise and communicate their findings as a dissertation that advances knowledge in one or more applied science disciplines.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: NSCI8001TP and NSCI8002TP.
