The Unitec Kura Kaupapa and Rumaki Reo Scholarships were established in 2019 to support and engage Kura Kaupapa and Rumaki Reo graduates into tertiary studies at Unitec.
Unitec Vocational Pathway Scholarship
The Vocational Pathway Scholarships were established in 2019 to assist school leavers who complete at least one vocational pathway programme at Unitec and then choose to commence study at Unitec in a certificate, diploma or degree level programme. The scholarship is designed to help cover education related costs and provide an opportunity to connect to various induction and mentoring opportunities.

Kate Edger Foundation - Women in Fine Arts Award in Memory of Carol Schofield
This award in memory of Carol Schofield is made possible by a generous sponsorship from her family and friends. Carol was an artist and picture framer who was closely involved in Auckland's art and gallery scene. The award is intended to provide financial assistance to a woman enrolled full-time in the third year or above of a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Design and Contemporary Art.

The purpose of the Tuli scholarship is to acknowledge the ongoing importance of education for Aotearoa Pacific families and communities. The scholarship is intended to support Pacific people to reach their potential by reducing some financial barriers to study or training. Maia Māori Centre delivers a Māori Mentoring Scholarship programme based on a tuakana-tenia model. If you are enrolled in a full-time, full-year Unitec programme, you may be eligible for this scholarship, which is paid in instalments each term

The awards will be made for a year of study that requires a student to undertake a practicum which is usually unpaid and involves travel or residence away from home.
