Kate Edger Foundation- Macandrew Award in Performing Arts
This award arises from a donation from the Titirangi and Blockhouse Bay Branch of the New Zealand Women’s Institute and is in memory of Mrs MacAndrew, a long-time member and benefactor of the Branch and a talented pianist. It is to assist a woman enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts at Unitec. The successful candidate must live in West Auckland.

Inside Story: Furry Friends In Tonga
A group of 14 certificate and diploma level students, and three teaching staff, travelled to Tonga’s main island of Tongatapu in 2016, where they visited Nukualofa and some of the smaller villages. It’s the fourth year Unitec has taken students to Tonga.
